 ERIS launches new Privacy Policy for the Payment Card Industry

 Executive Risk Insurance Services is pleased to announce its launch of a new policy in partnership with Moneris Solutions, Canada’s largest payment card processor. This new policy is offered exclusively for merchants who process payment transactions through Moneris and the coverage is designed to address the unique needs imposed on such companies by the Payment Card Industry framework and the mandatory industry standards and rules. We believe the PCI coverage afforded to Moneris merchants is the broadest available in the Canadian market.
This program is available to all brokers.
To better streamline the application process, we have created a straightforward application available to those that are PCI compliant or expect to be compliant within 3 months. The questions are designed to assess the volume of payment card transactions and whether there have been any previous breach events. Applicants that qualify for the PCI short form application will have access to preferred pricing. If the applicant does not expect to be PCI compliant within 3 months they will then fill out the full ERIS Privacy and Network Liability Insurance Application and are subject to the full underwriting process.
